Accounting

Staff Accountant

 

Contribute to the successful completion of daily, weekly, month-end, quarterly and annual close processes in a timely and accurate manner. Maintaining a results oriented approach to ensure that deadlines and initiatives are met, based on a comprehensive understanding of processes, systems, functions and timelines. A/P and A/R.  Performing research, analysis and appropriate follow up on reconciliation.

Requirements: BS degree in Accounting, 3-5 years experience in accounting, Strong experience in Excel; pivot tables, sorting, filtering and ERP Systems required.

 

Accounting Manager

 

Manages daily accounting functions for the Bank, including accounts payable and receivable, and recording of transactional accounting. Maintains accounting and investment records, and oversees and reviews employee payroll entries in payroll system.
Provides support to Treasurer/Controller with account analysis and other financial reviews. Prepares general ledger reconciliation, analysis of financial accounts and preparation of journal entries. Closes the month-end financials and assists the Treasurer/Controller with preparation of provisional expense reports. Produces corporate financial statements and regulatory Financial Reports. Develops and implements policies to streamline Bank’s accounting procedures. Supervises, assigns, trains, and coordinates work and monitors department staff. Coordinates and provides necessary information for external audit and tax preparation engagements with Certified Public Accountants. Participates in budget preparation and prepares financial reports.

Requirements: BS in Accounting or finance and three to five years of related experience in a financial institution. Complete technical knowledge of GAAP and employee payroll input procedures. Possess excellent organizational, supervisory and interpersonal skills.


Bookkeeper

                        

Detailed oriented. Experienced in all aspects of bookkeeping; responsibilities will include A/R, A/P, adjusting journal entries, general ledger, monthly financial statements, and payroll. Requirements: 2+ yrs exp, Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Word and MS Excel.
